NOTICE OF PUBLIC BUDGET HEARING
FOR THE TOWN OF LUCAS
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 11, 2025 @ 7:30 P.M. 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town of Lucas, Dunn County, Wisconsin, will hold a public hearing on the town’s proposed 2026 budget on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at 7:30 p.m., at the Lucas Town Hall, E2301 State Rd 29, Menomonie, WI. The proposed budget in detail will be available for inspection by Saturday, November 8 on the town’s website at www.townoflucas-wi.gov and at the clerk’s office by appointment (call 715-235-3853 or email [email protected]).

NOTICE OF SPECIAL TOWN MEETING OF ELECTORS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a special town meeting of the Town of Lucas will be held at the town hall on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 immediately following completion of the Public Hearing on the proposed year 2026 budget, which begins at 7:30 P.M., for the following purposes:

1.      To adopt the 2025 total town tax levy (to be collected in 2026) pursuant to Wis.Stat. § 60.10(1)(a).

NOTICE OF MONTHLY BOARD MEETING 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the monthly Town of Lucas board meeting will be held at the town hall on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, immediately following completion of the Special Town Meeting of Electors. An agenda will be posted on the town’s website and at the town hall at least 24 hours prior to the meeting.
